UPPSC Recruitment 2025: Apply Now for Statistics Officer & Assistant Geologist Posts – Deadline July 21

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the opening of its direct recruitment process for the year 2025. This year, the commission is looking to fill positions for Statistics Officers and Assistant Geologists.

Interested candidates should note that the online application process began on June 20, 2025, and will close at 11:59 PM IST on July 21, 2025. It’s crucial to complete your applications within this window to avoid missing this opportunity.

Eligibility for these positions varies, Statistics Officers require a postgraduate degree in Maths, Stats, Commerce, or Economics with at least 55% marks or a relevant two-year PG diploma and knowledge of Hindi. Assistant Geologists need a Master’s degree in Geology or Applied Geology with a minimum of 50% marks. Applicants must be aged between 21 to 40 years, with age relaxations applicable as per UPPSC guidelines.

The registration fees are also tailored according to categories: General, OBC, and EWS candidates pay ₹105, SC and ST candidates pay ₹65, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities pay only ₹25. All fees include a processing charge and must be paid by the closing date of July 21, 2025.
