TNUSRB Grade II Police Constable Exam: Key Dates and Physical Test Details

Today marks a significant day for many aspirants in Tamil Nadu as the TNUSRB Grade II Police Constable written exam takes place. Scheduled for 9 November 2025, this exam is for those looking to serve in law enforcement.
Following the written test, candidates will undergo several physical tests. These include the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Endurance Test, and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Each stage is designed to assess the physical capabilities necessary for the demanding role of a police constable.
Physical Test Details:
- Height Requirement: Men – 170 cm (General/BC/MBC), 167 cm (SC/SC(A)/ST); Women – 159 cm (General/BC/MBC), 157 cm (SC/SC(A)/ST).
- Chest Measurement for Men: 81 cm (normal), 86 cm (expanded).
- Endurance Test: Men – 1500 metres in 7 minutes; Women/Transgender – 400 metres in 2 minutes 30 seconds.
- Physical Efficiency Test: Includes rope climbing, long jump, and running events, with marks awarded based on performance.
The total marks for selection include 70 from the written exam, 24 from PET, and 6 for special qualifications like NCC or sports. Understanding these criteria is crucial for all candidates aiming for success.
