Revolutionizing Government Job Applications: SSC’s New ‘My SSC’ App Launches!

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially launched the ‘My SSC’ mobile app on June 2, 2025, a major upgrade aimed at streamlining the application process for government jobs directly from a smartphone.

This app integrates advanced security measures such as Aadhaar-linked One-Time Password (OTP) and facial recognition, ensuring a secure and reliable user experience. Now, applicants can register, apply, and receive updates for exams without needing to visit cyber cafes or service centers.

According to SSC Chairman S Gopalakrishnan, the introduction of the ‘My SSC’ app significantly empowers applicants, especially those from rural areas, by eliminating intermediaries and making the application process more accessible.

The app’s initial phase has shown promising results, with over 40,000 applications successfully submitted and more than 200,000 in progress, highlighting its potential to transform government recruitment processes.
