SSC MTS 2025 – Best Government Job for 10th Pass Candidates!

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the upcoming release of the official notification for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) 2025 examination. Scheduled for publication on 26th June 2025, this notification marks the commencement of a significant recruitment drive for positions such as Peon, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, and Havaldar in various central government departments.

Interested candidates, particularly those who have completed their 10th standard, are encouraged to apply. The application window will open concurrently with the notification release and will close on 24th July 2025. Applications must be submitted through the official SSC website.

The SSC MTS 2025 Tier-1 examination is set to take place from 20th September to 24th October 2025. It will include a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for all posts and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) specifically for Havaldar positions in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC).

Candidates must be Indian citizens and meet age criteria set for the positions—18 to 25 years for most MTS posts and 18 to 27 years for Havaldar roles. Successful candidates will benefit from a salary aligned with Pay Level-1 of the 7th Pay Commission, which ranges from ₹18,000 to ₹22,000 per month, along with other allowances.
