SSC CHSL Correction Fee Alert: ₹200 First, ₹500 for Second Change — How It Affects Your Application

New fees for CHSL 2025 corrections announced.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the fee structure for corrections in the CHSL 2025 application forms, imposing charges that could significantly impact candidates.

Previously, candidates could make corrections to their application at no cost, but the new rules state a fee of ₹200 for the first correction and ₹500 for any subsequent corrections. This fee structure is important because it emphasizes the need for accuracy in the initial submission.

With only two corrections allowed, candidates are urged to double-check their applications before final submission. This change not only increases the financial burden but also limits the opportunities to rectify any mistakes post-submission.

Fields eligible for correction include personal details, educational qualifications, and post preferences, however, critical information like Aadhaar number and registration details are not subject to changes. The non-refundable nature of the fees means candidates will incur costs irrespective of later changes.

To make any corrections, candidates must visit the official SSC website, log in with their credentials, and navigate to ‘Modify Application’ under the CHSL 2023 section. The correction window is open from July 25 to July 26, 2025, until 11:59 PM.
