Railway Recruitment Board Begins Graduate-Level NTPC Exam from June 5.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) NTPC 2025 Computer Based Test 1 (CBT-1) officially began on June 5 and will continue till June 24, 2025, conducted across various shifts nationwide. The exam is being held for graduate-level positions under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) recruitment.

Admit cards were released on June 1, 2025, and candidates were advised to download them from their respective regional RRB portals. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID to gain entry at the exam center.

The ongoing recruitment aims to fill approximately 11,558 vacancies, including 8,113 graduate-level and 3,445 undergraduate-level posts. With over 1.21 crore applicants, this is among the largest government recruitment drives in India this year.

The CBT-1 exam comprises 100 objective-type questions from three sections — General Awareness (40 questions), Mathematics (30 questions), and General Intelligence & Reasoning (30 questions). The total duration is 90 minutes, and there is a negative marking of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer.
