NEET PG 2025 Exam Postponed: New Dates to Be Announced Soon
Supreme Court orders single-shift exam for equity.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the postponement of the NEET PG 2025 examination. Originally scheduled for June 15, 2025, the exam has been deferred due to a Supreme Court directive.

The Supreme Court has mandated that the exam be conducted in a single shift to promote fairness and transparency. This decision aims to eliminate any disparities in difficulty levels that could arise from multiple exam shifts, thereby preserving the integrity of the assessment process.
In response to this directive, NBEMS is making extensive logistical changes, including increasing the number of test centers and upgrading infrastructure to accommodate all candidates in one shift. Updated examination dates, along with details for the release of admit cards and city intimation slips, will be announced soon.
Additionally, NBEMS has sought permission from the Supreme Court to conduct the exam on August 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates are advised to stay updated by regularly checking the official NBEMS websites for the latest information.
