Online applications for Navik and Yantrik extended.
The Indian Coast Guard has officially announced an extension for the online application process for CGEPT 2025, now ending on June 29, 2025. This extension provides a crucial opportunity for candidates aspiring to join as Navik (General Duty/Domestic Branch) and Yantrik for the 01/2026 and 02/2026 batches.

A total of 630 vacancies are open for this recruitment cycle. Eligibility criteria include educational qualifications ranging from a 10th pass for Navik DB, to a diploma in engineering for Yantrik positions. Age requirements are set between 18 to 22 years, with age relaxation applicable under government norms.
The selection process is divided into four stages including a Computer-Based Test, Physical Fitness and Adaptability Tests, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. The initial computer-based test is tentatively scheduled for September 2025.
Interested candidates are urged to complete their applications online by visiting the official portal. It’s advised to apply well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical disruptions.
