Indian Army TGC-142 Recruitment 2025: Last Date to Apply is Tomorrow!

The Indian Army has officially opened the application window for the 142nd Technical Graduate Course (TGC-142), which is set to commence in January 2026 at the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun. This opportunity is aimed exclusively at unmarried male engineering graduates seeking to join the prestigious ranks of the Indian Army. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online by the deadline of 29 May 2025, with applications closing at 3:00 PM IST.

Eligibility criteria require applicants to be between the ages of 20 and 27 years as of January 2026 and hold or be pursuing a B.E./B.Tech degree in specified engineering fields. The selection process will involve academic evaluations followed by a comprehensive 5-day interview at the Services Selection Board (SSB), without any written examination. Successful candidates will then undergo a medical examination prior to their commissioning.

During the 12-month training period at the IMA, cadets will receive a monthly stipend of ₹56,100. Upon successful completion, graduates are commissioned as Lieutenants in the Indian Army, with a starting salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 along with additional allowances, setting them on a prestigious career path with the armed forces.
