Freshers who have completed either the 10th standard with a minimum of 50% marks or the 12th standard with a focus in Science or Maths are welcomed to apply. Additionally, experienced ITI certificate holders can apply, with age limits set between 15 to 22 years for freshers and up to 24 years for Ex-ITI candidates. Notable age relaxations are available for OBC, SC/ST, and PwBD candidates.
The selection process is uniquely merit-based, focusing primarily on the academic achievements of the candidates in their respective qualifying exams. Successful applicants can look forward to a monthly stipend ranging from ₹6,000 for class-10 freshers to ₹7,000 for class-12 freshers and Ex-ITI candidates, with an anticipated 10% increment in the subsequent year.
