Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025 Coming Soon: What It Means

Revolutionizing recruitment for government jobs in India.

The Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025, an initiative by the Indian government, is set to replace multiple preliminary exams with a single, standardized test for non-gazetted government positions. This move, managed by the National Recruitment Agency (NRA), aims to make the recruitment process more streamlined and accessible.

The CET will be conducted in three levels: matriculate, higher secondary, and graduate, ensuring a wide range of job opportunities. Scheduled twice a year, the results from these exams will be valid for three years, and candidates can improve their scores by reattempting the test within their eligible age.

Moreover, the test will be available in 12 different languages, including Hindi and English, to cater to a diverse group of applicants across the country. This inclusivity promotes equal opportunities in employment for various central government departments.

In Haryana, a similar approach is being taken with the CET 2025 for Group C and D posts, managed by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC). The application period for this state-level CET has begun, with the exams planned for the mid-year. This computer-based test will cover various subjects pertinent to the respective posts, without negative marking, making it a promising opportunity for many aspirants.
