Assistant Teacher in the Trained Graduate Grade for 2025 selection process involves two main written exams and a document verification phase. Notably, there's no interview stage in this recruitment.

Stage 1 – Preliminary Screening Test

The first step is the Preliminary Screening Test, which is designed to shortlist candidates for the Main Examination. Here's what you can expect:

  • Format: Objective-type multiple-choice questions.
  • Total Questions: 150, divided into 30 questions on General Studies and 120 on the concerned subject.
  • Duration: 2 hours.
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer earns you 1 point, while each wrong answer deducts 0.33 points.

This stage is crucial as it determines who gets to move forward to the next round.

Stage 2 – Main Examination

Only those who pass the Preliminary Screening will appear for the Main Examination. This test focuses more deeply on your subject knowledge and contributes to your final merit:

  • Format: Written MCQ test, similar to the preliminary but with a deeper focus on the subject.
  • The scores from this exam are used to prepare the final merit list.

Document Verification

After succeeding in the Main Examination, you'll be called for document verification. This step is essential for your final appointment. You will need to verify several documents:

  • Original certificates and educational qualifications.
  • Caste, domicile, and disability certificates (if applicable).
  • Identity proof.

Merit List and Final Selection

The final merit list is prepared based on your performance in the Main Examination. It's important to note that this list is exclusively based on the Main exam scores of candidates who have passed the preliminary test and completed document verification. There is no interview or skill test involved in the final selection process.
